Shipping Information

 

Body Panels & Glass

Due to the high probability that body panels and glass will be damaged in transit it is our company policy to not ship these items.  This includes all vehicle windows, but does not include side view or interior mirrors.  Both side view and interior mirrors are small enough to ship safely.  Body panels include, doors, fenders, hoods, deck lids, quarter panels, etc.

Airbags

Airbags are considered a Hazardous Material and require a strict protocol to ship safely.  UPS also charges more to ship these  items.  Due to these factors shipping for airbags is generally more than other parts we sell.

Engines & Transmissions

All engines and transmissions are shipped by freight line.  You will need to be able to unload a freight sized truck at your facility in order to accept these shipments.

All other parts

Most parts at Baird's Auto Parts are shipped UPS ground within 24 hours of your purchase.  Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost.

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping and this includes U.S. territories like Puerto Rico.

Shipping Options - The specific shipping options will be displayed at checkout after you enter a shipping address. Air carriers reserve the right to extend delivery time by 24 hours when delivering to residential addresses.   This is beyond our control and next day or second day air charges will NOT be refunded if considered late as it is out of control.   All overnight or 2nd day air orders must be received before 1:00 PM Eastern Time (10:00 AM Pacific Time) Mondays to Fridays to insure same day shipment.   No Overnight or 2-Day deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. If you place your order for Overnight and 2-Day delivery on a weekend or a holiday, please be aware that the shipping cycle for these orders starts on the next available business day.

Damaged Shipments - Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. Our warehouses put forth every effort to prevent shipping damage however, damages may occur occasionally due to inclement weather.   If you receive a damaged part, do NOT accept the package, have the shipper immediately return to sender. If the shipper has left a damaged package in your absence, immediately contact the shipper and have the package returned to sender. We must be contacted immediately if any of the above occurs to prevent your being charged freight on both ways. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 30 business days, regardless of the party at fault. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims for such must be processed through the shipping company.

Lost or Stolen Orders - We are not directly responsible for lost or stolen packages, but we will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the shipping service. You must contact us immediately if the entire shipment was not received within two (2) full business days.  All requests must be made within twenty-one (21) days from the date of shipment for any possibility of claim.
